Anna Garasto ~ The Healthy Italian Goddess

I love Niagara Falls, both the Canadian and American sides.  Not only do you have one of the natural wonders of the world but the is so much amazingness there too from attractions, to parks, to restaurants and much more!  I'm so blessed to live only an hour and a half by car.  This past time we specifically went to visit two attractions and the falls.  First we went to see The Niagara Power Plant that includes the fabulous Tunnel where you can see the falls so close at a different vantage point. Then we went to the lovely Floral Showhouse too.  We only went for the day.  We then grabbed a burger at We The Fine (WTF) Burger and it was so good.  I highly recommend it all!  I've been going to Niagara since I was a baby!  My parents loved going there too.  They are originally from the South of Italy and everyone from there that visits Buffalo or Ontario or both makes it a point to visit Niagara Falls.  They definitely aren't wrong! ...

I combined my love of being out in nature, photography and butterflies and this is what I was so fortunate to capture over the summer.  

If I see something amazing I capture it. It's that simple. It can be anything. What ever I want to share and put it out there. I don't worry about what others will think. It's all about what I like and what I find interesting, or amazing, or beautiful. I don't take pictures just to take pictures. I only take pictures when I feel that there is a need. It's all about quality and not quantity. I find that I stay excited about my photography that way and I don't ever burn out. It's not about the money either. It's about the art. If you don't love what you do then you won't be happy about it. Something really drew me to this piece.  I'm pretty sure it was the neon light and then wondering if it was an angel or not?  It was the most unique angel that I had ever seen!  I love artwork that makes you think and feel!

all these incredible works are by Joyce Weiland for her Heart On exhibition on the entire fourth floor!  It was truly amazing!!  I really love going to The Art Gallery of Ontario!  

My husband and I paid $45 each plus tax and tip and we got a lot of good and yummy food!  We enjoyed their Summerlicous menu on their lovely patio.  We each chose the Gigim appetizer, Korean BBQ for the main and a yummy dessert each.  My husband selected the berry cream ice and I picked the sweet rice water and sweet rice cake.  We definitely will be going back!

What a great way to start my art seeking adventure!  There were so many fascinating works of art inside the AGO too!  I highly recommend!
