Sweet Smelling Sugar Beach In Toronto, Ontario CANADA

Not only is Sugar Beach lovely with a pretty amazing view but it literally smells like sugar too because the Redpath Sugar Company is right next door, hence the name.  There is a great patio also and lots of Green P city pay parking which you can access on an app if you prefer.
Though there is no beach access to swim you can boat there and there is a splash pad nearby.  If you notice there are dock cleats and I believe it's free which means no parking fees for the day.  For more information you can go to the City Of Toronto Sugar Beach Website and if it's not there contact them.
If you are going to be in Toronto you should try to check out the Harbour Front and Toronto Islands.  I think if you took a full day or two max you could see a lot of it.  There is so much to do here in Toronto you will probably need to keep coming back.  It's a great place to visit and an even better place to live.
I put two links in this blog post and if you noticed the Redpath Sugar link you then will find some pretty sweet things!  Here are another two links I just found an amazing recipe for Lemon and Lavender Flower Tartlets and then there is the Acts Of Sweetness section where they list that Redpath will have their truck at some events in Southern Ontario.

Started A Little Butterfly and Bee Flower Garden Box This Spring

Thanks to Sheridan Nursery we were able to get some pretty wonderful flower plants without any problems and they had a section in their perennials specifically for bees, butterflies and/or hummingbirds.  I was able to find some pretty lovely ones for bees and butterflies easily and the service was so wonderful. too

Those are some of the flower plants that I selected.  Members receive a 2 year warranty with their purchase.  Also if you buy a bag of dirt or something it's at the front and they have staff to take it right to your car if you like just show them your receipt.

I even spotted this crazy yet amazing plant that seemed fake because it had fuzzy looking flowers, chenille is what it's called, but it was totally real and the sales lady was so informed about it too.  I had to think but unfortunately couldn't find a place for it in my home so had to pass this time.

And Voila!  All planted and ready to fully bloom!

2017 Just Flew On By!

Last I posted on here was the summer!  Fall just went by so super quick for me, was very busy so I can understand why.  Even still was so fortunate to be able to capture some really amazing nature on some of my down times, however.  I am hoping to find time to go through all my pictures and upload them to my Flickr and include only a few of those that I feel are best to my American Fine Art gallery.

Living in the city does offer a lot of great optic material, especially during the holidays.

The new tunnel is open at Eaton's Centre and it's really amazing!

The Eaton's Centre Christmas Tree that spanned all the levels of the mall, and then some, was really something too.
